Cookies

In order to improve our services and the functionality of our website, we use cookies and data collection on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device and contain information about the activities of website users, which information is then made available to the website server or the relevant third party to which the cookie relates, upon the user’s next visit. In addition to cookies, there are other methods by which data can be collected, such as IP address or geolocation data. For the purposes of this information, we use the common name “cookie” for any data collection on our website, which is listed below, regardless of whether it is carried out via a cookie or another technology or method.

We use a consent manager system on our website, which displays a cookie banner when you visit the website. The cookie banner allows you to manage your consent to different types of cookies, while also showing you the cookies that are relevant to you and that are stored in your specific case (depending on the browser you use, or other privacy solutions you use (e.g. privacy plugins, ad blockers, etc.).

The cookies we use can be divided into two (2) types based on their duration:

  • short-term (so-called session cookies), which remain in your browser only until you close the browser,
  • long-term (so-called persistent cookies), which remain stored even after you close the browser, and these can last for a specific period of time (e.g. 10 minutes, 90 days, maximum 365 days) or are stored until the user deletes them.

The storage period of cookies can also be adjusted according to your own requirements, as it depends on the settings of the cookie itself and your internet browser.

Depending on who sets cookies, we distinguish:

  • first party cookie – this is set by the website you are currently visiting (in simple terms, only the website you are currently visiting remembers the data),
  • third-party cookie – is set by a domain other than the website you are currently visiting (in simple terms, such a cookie tracks you between different websites, for example for advertising).

Cookies can also be divided into:

  • those that are necessary for the functioning of the website (so-called essential), while this group can include basic cookies necessary for the functioning of the website, for example, which enable page navigation or access to protected areas of the website. Without these cookies, our website would not function properly, their use is necessary and therefore we do not ask your consent to store and access them.
  • those that are voluntary (so-called non-essential), such non-essential cookies are:
  • cookies that are used to store user settings and preferences to improve their experience or demonstrate compliance with regulations, such as language preferences or setting or customizing the interface, as well as tracking and storing user consents to cookies.
  • cookies that track the user across different websites and display targeted advertising. They are often used for remarketing and retargeting,
  • cookies that analyze user behavior on the website in order to optimize marketing strategies. These cookies collect data that helps personalize content and improve marketing campaigns,
  • cookies that collect data on how users interact with the website, without identifying specific users. The aim is to improve the website based on visitor behavior,
  • cookies that collect statistical data on website traffic, such as the number of visits, length of visits and the most popular pages. These cookies help to gain an overview of the website’s performance.

Both types of cookies are placed on our website, and for non-essential cookies we require your consent to their use, which you can revoke at any time by changing the settings in the cookie bar or, for example, by setting your internet browser to prohibit the storage of cookies (instructions can be found on the support page of the relevant internet browser). You can also prohibit the use of essential cookies, either specifically for this website or for all websites, in the settings of your internet browser (instructions can be found on the support page of the relevant internet browser). However, after deactivating essential cookies, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website, or the website may not function properly.

After being redirected to these pages, the privacy and cookie policies of the respective social network providers apply. The operator of this website has no control over what data these companies collect and how they process it.
